IF ...shiny

When Debbie Harry added a pop sheen to her band's punk leanings, she made it big time with a shiny new heart of glass.
So polished on stage ~you could tell she was no debutante.

  1. Spot on caricature of a childhood fantasy of mine (and many others)!

  2. How did I miss this novelty?
Was I on a music hiatus?
She's quite perky and shiny. I like how you rendered her hair. I keep circling it's perimeter. The wispy ones with no outline contrast nicely with those that are. I dig those big flat strands of fettucinne, too.
    You are so talented, Richard.

  3. You nailed the spunky energy of Blondie and her golden locks. The rendering of the hair compliments the face. I love that perky nose.

  5. Wow, this is such a brilliant Debbie Harry! You really captured a perfect expression and the hair is so cool. Love the eyeshadow.

You've got a lot of scary going on in those scribble sketches!
