I fin...Thank you for posting your process, Richard. I find it interesting that you abandoned your first composition ... and how much stronger the final became as a result. Your subtle background creates a quiet, yet tense, feeling. Just looking at it, I can hear crickets and feel the hairs standing up on the back of my neck. Bilbo, being foreshortened and spotlighted, is a wonderful and dynamic contrast.
