Coffee Mugs™

Graphite conducts electricity.  This is in part why I draw these Coffee Mugs™ directly in ink without preliminary pencil sketches.
It's too dangerous!

Coffee Mugs™

A challenging task when drawing faces is to identify and convey the facial differences amongst yawning, singing, yelling and crying.  The resulting expressions are similar but there are differences to be had...

Camels cannot swim.
However, they do float.

I don't write the rules here...

I • XII • MCMXIX

It was one hundred years ago today.
~Sunday, January 12, 1919~
Woodrow Wilson was president.
The leaders of the Big Four nations met for the first time in post-WW1 Paris to set peace terms as Russia struggled against Bolshevism.
Meanwhile, in California arrived Donald Ewing.

Coffee Mugs™

There are altogether about 24 creases on the lips (upper and lower combined); they are useful in showing the form of the lips and how they differ from each other in direction and aspect.
It's a shame that one cannot use them as you would use tree rings; we'd all be young until we died.
---our deaths celebrated forever as a tragedy.

I must return to my drawings now before I get much older.

Coffee Mugs™

The Elephant bird is no longer.
Extinct due to human activity of one sort or another.
Their massive eggs would feed entire families.
They sustained life, but the yolk was on them.
The Elephant bird is no longer.

I must get back to my drawings now.
