There is often more that can be said with body posture and mannerisms than is said with the face and expression. It embodies more subtlety and portends more accusations than one might expect. ~~it's a complex sentence from a nineteenth century novel; the face is pop art.

I like the quick use of line work. It's as if you don't think about it to much and just draw.
ReplyDeleteThat's not too far from the truth. I spend a chunk of time assessing WHO to draw and what visual possibilities they portend, ~~but the drawing itself is a real-time search for a visual statement; the image unfolds as I react to the marks that I lay down. It's performance art.
