OWL
The owl.
Seen frequently to be a symbol of wisdom and often a symbol of death. At times believed to be a goddess as well as a generator of bad luck. A harbinger of disease and a propagator of sorcery. At once cute and startling.
--and their eggs used as a cure for a hangover.
it's no wonder they look so confused...

ROOSTER
Roosters are roosting when they rest at night. Why not simplify and call them Resters?

Bird Shots™
RAVEN
Shaggier than the crow. Bigger and with more attitude.
Protector of England and first out of the ark.
Beautiful bird.

CARDINAL
A compact bird, so much so that it makes it near impossible not to draw an 'angry bird' version of this species. Focus will be more on posture than ire.
Has attitude too, but. Giants make them nervous.
Thank you. And enjoy.

Bird Shots™
PIGEON
Some preliminary studies for a larger project which is not defined sufficiently enough to elaborate on here on the blog. This begins as a series of bird explorations examining posture, distortion and tension. It took a while to find anything of interest to manipulate on the Pigeon.
I blame the Pigeon.
