Bird Shots™

The owl.  
Seen frequently to be a symbol of wisdom and often a symbol of death.  At times believed to be a goddess as well as a generator of bad luck.  A harbinger of disease and a propagator of sorcery.  At once cute and startling.
--and their eggs used as a cure for a hangover.
it's no wonder they look so confused...

  1. I like your new subject, Richard. Your facility with line and hatching works well with all those feathers ... very delightful to to get absorbed in. I'm partial to the little owl with the sideways head. He makes me smile from his sweetness.
