Coffee Mugs™

Coffee was criminal !!  pt 4
Coffee was illegal in Istanbul in the 1630s when Murad IV banned it along with alcohol and tobacco. He purportedly policed the enforcement of this himself at times by dressing up in civilian clothes at night and lurking about in various low-end taverns and coffee shops, beheading the transgressors on the spot!

they drank it anyway.

This kind of guys have increased amount of saliva in their mouth ... I don't know if it was your intention but the tiny details by upper lip is exactly the reason why I keep big distance from such persons.... the saliva droplets can reach rather big distance . Your drawing reminds me one of my teachers....

    1. Ha!
Yes that's accurate; you are very observant. There is often an undefined haze around the lips of these moist mouths. ---after a while, with neglect, a little white cakey film will gather in the corners of the mouth as well... gets hard to remove.

      This is not pleasant banter.
But Somebody has to notice it... I guess it falls to you and me.
