Slowly and surely, as they climbed ever higher in popularity, Simon and Garfunkel found themselves artistically separated and operationally defunct ~~just as they'd finished their most acclaimed and successful album!
You definitely nailed this one. I especially like Garfunkel. Who'd athunk you could do such an accurate portrait of someone with only half a face? Nice!
I really love this. Everything in the composition supports the concept very well. The stretch, color, shapes and crop. It is definitely one of my favorites.
Lots of insight and understanding of the subject comes through in the choice of composition, drawing and color. Absolutely love the handling of Garfunkel's shoulders/neck and the vertical stripes. Form and content are working together here.
This is an AWESOME representation of the theme, and I am in love with your style! Reminds me strikingly of the mad hatter and Frankenstein's monster of they were to be caught in a photograph together. Great work!
It's perfect! Truly wonderful and lighthearted. These two half faces were a captivating whole, all those years ago. Garfunkel's ear, hair, neck is fabulous, and begins the delightful path to Simon.
Nice work and excellent separated composition..a 'Bridge' not enough to bring back unity.
ReplyDeleteHaha, that's great! Love the colors you used. Such a great composition. Love the facial features.

ReplyDeletePerfection! I love the curls in the hair!
ReplyDeleteI agree with all above : a truly very good piece.
ReplyDeleteEven though the faces are only partially visible they accurately describes the entire affair.
Only a good artist is able to capture such a fleeting moment convincingly.
great take on the theme and really nice line working
