IF ...wild

The 'quiet' Beatle notwithstanding, George Harrison was quite able to make the girl fans in the audience go wild by breaking out into a two-second jig, shaking his hair or tossing a vague wave outwards ~~when the mood struck him.
(...and he often did it wild his guitar gently wept).

  1. Some of my preferred colours and my preferred Beatle. Nice interplay of picture plains going on with the cut out effect used almost to split the work into two..

  2. I see the wildness in the first picture: I like the B&W lines , wild and full of movements which are sometimes lost in colors in the finished pieces. ( I do not mean particularly this one but in general)

    .....

    I enjoy it.

  3. This is a really nice series, Richard. You've managed to keep a consistent look and feel with all four Beatles ~ doubly difficult since your series was created over the course of five weeks, where most are created simultaneously to achieve such ends. Very nice likeness, too. His quiet spirituality is the yin to his audience's yang. You rock!

  4. Great series and my favorite Beatle. He is so hip. The shape of the silhouette is very sexy as are the color choices. i think that the cut out effect is most successful with this one...unbelievable that you create the illusion with with paint.
