IF ...diary

Anne Frank was very difficult to do, emotionally. The push and pull of the caricature was a challenge to commit to with regard to the tragedy that Anne was. In most of her photos, but particularly the latter ones, you can see the battle between the optimism & fullness of youth against the depression and malnutrition of the war time. Children should never be in these circumstances. ever.

Ahhhh, relief! A nice strong conceptual piece... I see nearly everyone (including myself) is interpreting this topic quite literally. I appreciate the melding of concepts here... well done.

Rick, you've outdone yourself. This piece is my new favorite. Her hair is brilliant, delightful. The depth of her eyes carries all the tragedy. It's lovely.
