The biggest giant of them all HAS to be Willie Mays. He could do it all, and better than most: 660, .302, .557, 1903, & 338, in just 2992 games! He only K-ed 1526 times, and was HBP a dinky 44 times (obviously wink to Mr. Aaron). How's that for a set of Giant numbers? He was a nice guy as well.

really enjoyed seeing the process towards the finished piece - brilliant!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture--and I really liked seeing your process. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI like, all the parts come together to a wonderful whole. Wonderful integration of line and color.
ReplyDeleteSWEEEET! Nice take and wonderful work Richard!!
ReplyDeleteAnother aMAZing piece, Rick. I like the broad brush strokes you used on his face and the variety of colors. Also, the contrast in size of Willie vs. the catcher is very effective.
ReplyDeleteSay hey! Great caricature and development! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThanks all, I was fairly happy with the results myself...
