Creating an obscene scene with the epicene is always a joy for the caricaturist, it's a nice challenge to push the vague~o~meter directly straight up and centered.
not as easy as it looks...

These are great.
ReplyDeleteI am especially partial to the last one. The way the face comes out of the negative space of the paper...it reminds me of one of the kollwitz self portraits
I'm with Alice - the last one is incredible! (Although I like all three.) I love the dark, brooding eye and the strong profile line ... and how it sweeps the viewer up to the burst of hair. Hey wait a minute ... is this another Dylan illo?
ReplyDeletei enjoy how you capture the expressions and feelings with each in their own unique way ~ you draw so well i can see their personalities...
ReplyDeleteHence the occasional attendant gender confusion. Number three has quite a presence, but number two is near and dear for the struggle and indecision-
ReplyDeleteI agree with Doodlestreet, you completely capture their expressions. It's so easy to feel/interpret their personalities. I do so enjoy your work. Thank you for your kind words on my site.
ReplyDeleteNice line work!
ReplyDeleteThese seem to have an extra layer of embedded complexity and richness. I have the same problems of big fingers with tiny key boards as number two does. love the twist.
ReplyDeletewell what fun I am having laughing at your wonderful work. Not as easy as it seems? It doesn't seem easy at all, to capture the essence, it's like showing a pear tree with only one leaf
