nice interpretation of the word sight. i also like the detail of the eyes - one closed and the other covered, like she kept trying not to be seen apart from the image we already had from her. nice work
I like this work..its a clever portrayal of a woman who wanted once to be seen and then not to be. It seems she displayed herself on a daily basis in New York to the 'Garbo watchers'..amazing.
Wow, so great! You always do those wonderfully long, expressive hands. Love the eyelashes and that neckline. And the sketches! And I think that must be Marty Feldman in the scribbles. He would have been a good choice too.
Thanks,it is Marty Feldman. ~~He was on deck, and nearly the choice for the week... I believe I thought he was too easy.but I'm sure he'll make a comeback eventually.
and Freddie Mercury too, I guess????
no, the one I think you may be looking at is Howard Hughes. ~~Another recluse, but Greta was more challenging, so I vent with her..
oh, wonderful, you completely got her :)
VS(ao)VIC : WOW!!!!
Just simply fabulous! I love the repetition of wavy lines ... in her hair, eyelashes, fingers and dress … and the softness you captured with her hair. It's all so very feminine and the perfect gesture.(I too love the Marty Feldman! I think you could have just posted this sketch and been done with the topic for the week.)
Love the exaggeration of her features. The gesture of her hand is also fantastic. Really great job with this one!
Very elegant. I love the eyebrows and the serpentine lines. the gesture is fabulous. Nice play of exposure versus the hidden as well
Fantastic! Love the BW sketches following too...
The hand, the pose, I think you capture her elegance really well. Perfect!!Nothing to create more curiosity that trying to hide...that mystery makes her even more interesting.I think I would love to see your Howard Hughes and Marty Feldman finished versions one day :)
