IF ...refresh

Before Alfred Peet opened his first coffee shop in 1966, what Americans drank as coffee was likened to dishwater or worse... Mr. Peet introduced the U.S. to gourmet coffee, dark roasts, and even taught Starbuck's how to make their brew.
Peetniks across the nation have never looked back!

  1. Wonderful portrait - love that crazy hair. Very cool stylish mug and coffee colored background! Also really cool the way you used the white. I need to figure out how to do that kind of thing. And always love the sketches! ;)

  4. I always wondered who this Peet character was. Frankly, I thought he liked the name of my rabbit and decided to use it himself. I'm enjoying the textures you created as well, plus the contrasts between the graphic rendering of the mug and the intricacies of the face. Yay for Mr. Peet's entrepreneurial vision – and especially for his Mocha Java! Nice image, Richard!
