IF ...double

No one has ever 'Moon-walked' on the moon... what... --did the Apollo people 'Earth-walk' on the moon? I guess the answer would have to be yes... We Earth-walked on the moon, and Moon-walked on the Earth; all neat and tidy, yet one still is left with a tinge of malaise... The Jackson Skellington was a joy to do; ironically I kept reworking and reworking Michael's head as it never quite seemed right, and I was afraid his features would collapse altogether if I adjusted much more... For the double dancing here, it goes without saying that Michael and Jack both lose a little face here for doing a dance that is now so passe'.

  1. I love the dynamic motion in this drawing and the combination of these 2 "characters" is genius :)

  3. The movement in this piece is explosive, Rick, and your composition is really on the mark concerning Jackson's inner and outer lives. Great job!
