If anybody gazes at the stars they must compete ogle-wise with Stephen Hawking, or perhaps just gaze at Stephen specifically, who has himself become a star in his own right. ...who's really gazing at whom here?

Haha! The expression!
ReplyDeleteMay I know what was using in rending this?
This is primarily Acrylic paint and India Ink, I used a variety of brushes soft & stiff, rounds and flats. The ground is 140lb watercolor paper. And there you have it...
ReplyDeleteWhat a great subject, Rick. Your rendering of Steven's eyes is masterful. His gaze appears absentminded, but we know this genius is absorbed in all sorts of chimerical theories. Also, I like your contrast between realism and carickature, hard and soft edges.
ReplyDeleteAmazing drawing of an amazing man!
ReplyDeleteLove the way you color the eyes.
