Waiting is worth the wait, because history shows us that the common place of today was the stunning unbelievable revelation of yesterday.
...it's humbling to know that tomorrow's common place has yet to be realized and uncovered.
we should start wondering how we are ever managing without.

These are all excellent likenesses, full of personality and hints at their individual character. My eye keeps coming back to number 4- even though I am quite fond of number 2- 4 is like a combination of Mister Kurtz and Buddha.
ReplyDeletei am very fond of the coffee mugs. thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteNow I know why I went to that meeting...it was to enjoy these drawings! They make the meeting worth it. Amazing number two and number four
ReplyDeleteWell my favorite is the top one. That little wisp of hair is perfect. What I enjoy most about these drawings is your ability to catch the essence of the character without actually knowing or in some cases understanding them. I agree with Bill, these drawings definitely make the meetings go down better.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoyed looking at art to see what the artist sees, and the difference to what I see. Their rendition of beauty or familiarity it never seizes to amaze me. Thank you for sharing. I'm your latest follower nice to meet you!
