IF ...winter

The good, the bad and the snugly. ...or, maybe not. ~our Clint Eastwood made a fine career out of being cold and distant, except for the occasional foray into romance (with bridges) and silliness (with orangutans) for which, by some, he remains unforgiven. Still, even in the winter of his career, he's looking for someone to go ahead and make his day.

  1. Fantastic. Eastwood's last movie "Hereafter" seemed like an old man's exploration into his own impending death. I had mixed emotions about it.

  2. Great Clint tree! That sure captures the toughness, though trees are also flexible and complex. Wonderful portrait!

  3. grizzly, raspy, hardened and rooted to stay. I imagine the bark is kept underbreath as well.

  4. A perfect Carickature of Eastwood's wooden face and icy disposition. The question remains, if you were shot by a tree in the woods, would anyone hear it? (Maybe, if you're lucky.) Very clever, and unconventional, take on the IF word, Rick!

  6. Sa-weeet! Looks like he's about to uproot himself and come after me. The last line is great- (winter of his career...go ahead and make his day) Witty and seems true.

  9. Hey Richard. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Love your Clint tree. I love how you think outside the box! Did you take off from the “wood” in Eastwood or come from a different concept? Very cool. Hey thanks for pointing out my spelling woes. I have to stop assuming I know how to spell. ;o)
