IF ...disguise

In this age of social networking and various over~infosized~reality~bits it's harder and harder to keep your identity from being stolen... Identity theft is a nefarious crime that even has the likes of the Batman on edge...

  1. I like the concept for this drawing. And indeed it is easy to steal our identity. I love the 002.jpg version. Why? Stronger , expressiever, as with B&W portrait photograph's . Maybe some do not agree with me but that's life.........I do not try disguise my opinion.. :D

  2. I love what you post each and every week, I just don't always say it. This is amazing. I love too that you show the process - it has helped me to loosen up a bit in my own work. Great style - superlative imagination.

  3. Haha! Nice take on a contemporary issue. My, what an interesting nose. The repeat in the logo is very funny. I like the abstract face mask in the background too, it's surreal. How do you think of these things? Is it the coffee? Really nice, Richard.
I enjoyed your thumbnails too - especially the 6-up. Thank you for sharing your process.

  4. poor Batman. He really looks likes he is losing sleep over this identity theft business and he has totally lost his swagger. I love how you handled the mask. The sketches are fun too. He looks a bit like krazy kat in some of the sketches.

  5. Very Funny, a disguise in a disguise. "Why Batman, that is some nose you've got." Yes, I love all the drawings too.

  6. Nice! I completely agree with you about identity theft and think people who steal art off the net are nefarious too. I agree with everyone else about enjoying your process. I like looking at your sketches as much as your finished pieces.
